Hey Everybody!!
I just wanted to let y'all know that I'm still here and Still EXPLORING!!! I ordered two books the other day that I haven't gotten yet. They are, Elixir by Hilary Duff (who thought she would ever write a book? I didn't.) and Fade by Lisa McMann. Fade is the second book in the Wake Trilogy. Wake was really good so I am excited to read Fade!!!! I am currently in the middle of reading Being Nicki by Meg Cabot. I'm reading it as an eBook on my laptop so I've gotten distracted several times. Well gtg clean the house for the Holidays!!!!

Pretty Little Liars

Lately I have gotten into the books in the Pretty Little Liars series so I thought I would share my reviews:

The Pretty Little Liars:
-This book is very intruguing. Though I wish we got a little less character description, because that's basically what this first book was, an introduction. I really didn't get any action that I thought we would normally get form a mystery series like this one. But overall this was a good read. My favorite character would have to be Spencer, because on the exterior she is a straight-A student and on the interior she has a wild sorta rebellious side.

-The thing I liked the most about this book was it wasn't predictable. Though the Author did use foreshadowing you never really knew what was going to happen next.

Rating: 3/5

Flawless:

-I enjoyed this book more than the first. It gave you more detail about the person Allison was and the things she did to people. And I also liked how you finally learned what the Jenna Thing was, which made you less confused. And like the first one, this book was not predictable in any sense.

-What I liked about this book was Sara Shepard was able to fit some much in 330 pages. She showed how Aria moved on and got together with Sean, how Emily tried to hide her sexuality by going out with Toby, Toby's suicide, the girls coming together as friends, in this book everything changes.

Rating: 5/5

okay

okay so i haven't done what i have set out to do. but i have been reading. In fact, today I finished my ARC book Gimme a Call. Here is my review:

A very original book. It stands alone on a shelf. I like how you could really tell at what age Devi is. Sarah Mlynowski does a really good job of that. I also really like how you could understand how one little action could change your entire future.

What i didn't like about this book is that it seemed like it just kept going back and forth. It was predictable in that sense. You knew some little thing Frosh (younger Devi) did would change Ivy(older devi)'s world around her. But overall it was a good read.

Review: 3/5 stars

Since it seems that it is impossible for me to read a book and write a book about it every week, i think it will be one every 2 weeks. So, from now on, expect only 2 reviews a month (average).

I have just been super busy. It isn't easy being in the 8th grade. YOu've got homework and friends and dances and picnics. But I have been reading. Here is a list of books I have read since my last post, that i would recommend:

Queen B by Laura Peyton Roberts
Avalon High by Meg Cabot
The Princess Plot by Kirsten Boie
Forever in Blue by Ann Brashares
Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan

Hopefully in the next two weeks I will have a book review for Pretty Little Liars.

Week Two

Sorry, i've been bad. I haven't posted my review for The Season yet. Well here it is:

The Season:
"This book has it all. Murder, Romance, thrill. You won't be bored when you read this historical fiction book. Alex and Lord Blackmoor's relationship choices will make you want to pull your hair out, but at the same time is sweet.
Based in Britain 1815, The Season gives thrill to history. When Alex's friend Gavin (Lord Blackmoor)'s father dies, Gavin and Alex don't believe he just fell off his horse. They come to find out that he was murdered. Alex enlists the help of her friends to help solve the murder. They also have to deal with their 'coming out' season, which includes Galas and Balls and Social outings. On her way to discovering who done it Alex and Gavin fall in love unexpectedly. This season is sure going to be a wild one!!!
I really enjoyed this book. it was unlike any book i had ever read before. when i saw it at my school book fair i knew i had to read it. I had never read historical fiction before and i think I'm hooked. You will be too once you read this book. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Trust me, i am a random buzzer!!!"

Week One

This is my blog journey. My mission, read a book every week. By this time 2011 I should have read 52 books. This is not going to be an easy task. Hopefully you will join me in my quest.

Week One:
Book- Witch and Wizard by James Patterson
I just finished this book, here is my review:
It is really good. I love James Patterson's books and I think this one is the best. Every chapter, the reader goes on a thrill ride. I love the way the book switches the point of view every chapter. One chapter is wisty the next chapter it is whit, it really gives the reader a real good perspective of what's going on. Whit and Wisty's adventures are really well told. You will want to read this book over and over and over again. It is probably one of the best fantasy books i have ever read. You can really feel for what the characters are going through and feel scared when they do. One of these feelings could be anger. You might feel angry when you don't like the things the New Order is doing. I know i felt angry. Another thing i liked about this book was the fact that it was unique and an easy read. I could not put it down, i read it in 2 days! Lately authors have been writing about vampires and stuff like that but not in this one. It stands alone among all the other books on the shelf. Look out Harry Potter!!
